Patrice & Todd

PATRICE KALINOWSKI

Patrice Kalinowski also started in music at the age of 12 after receiving her first guitar.  She immediately put her natural talents to work. From 1968 to 1979, she composed music and performed in several musicals such as the lead roll “Nancy” in Oliver, Lil' Abner, Kiss Me Kate, and also performed in 5 Gilbert and Sullivan productions. In 1985 she was runner up in a Christian contemporary singer/writer competition which hosted several hundred contestants. From 1985 to 1995 she continued writing and performing for different rock bands and Christian contemporary artists, performing across the northern part of the US. In 1995 she wrote and produced her own Christian CD “Vessel” which got some air play in certain parts of the country. After moving to East Tennessee in 1997, she has been highly involved in working with children and teens music programs. She also performed at the Louise Mandrell Theatre for her Sunday morning services.
 

TODD EPPERSON

Todd Epperson started his musical career at age 12, playing drums for various gospel groups in Southern IL, fronting name headliners such as The Happy Goodman’s, J.D. Sumner and the Stamps to the Imperials. Todd at age 15 moved with his family to the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, where he soon started playing in various local venues’ such as, Silver Dollar City( “now Dollywood”), Sweet Fannie Adams Theatre and Ober Gatlinburg from 1978 to 1985.

In 1985 Todd went on the road playing guitar, keyboards, and vocals as a solo artist in the Sheraton, Holiday inn circuit across America before he landed in Atlantic City at Merv Griffin's Resorts in 1992. Todd relocated back to East Tennessee in 1997 where he took a position playing in the Casino’s across the south along side several 70,s rock bands such as, Survivor, Mark Farner “Formerly of Grand Funk Railroad, Toto, America, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Rare Earth and Mickey Thomas from Starship.

Since retiring from the road in 2001, Todd has collaborated with Patrice to form Uturn Productions, a  Christian based independent label, writing, recording and selling music for commercials, musicals, individuals and other major labels across the United States and Europe.
 

Your Chapel Staff

Missy Saffelder
Operations Manager/Wedding Coordinator 

Missy has over eight years of professional wedding consulting experience with our chapels, office management as well as her position as Operations Manager for both our chapels.  Detail and service oriented, Missy takes her work seriously and always does her best to ensure each wedding event goes smoothly.  She enjoys assisting every size and type of wedding whether small and simple, or large and formal. When not busy at work Missy enjoys music and is an accomplished vocalist, singing in her church choir.  She also plays piano and harp as her own accompanist.

Dr. Mike Simpson
Minister

 Dr. Mike is the lead Minister and has performed thousands of wedding ceremonies in our chapel.  He has served in the ministry since 1976 as Outreach Director, Worship Leader, Associate Pastor and Pastor in churches here in the Smoky Mountain area.  He holds a BA and MA in Theology as well as his Doctorate of Divinity.
